This is just a short little thing to say that SPOD has put out a new CD. It has been out for a while and I am listening to it for the first time now.It is by no means a chiptune release. But it does have enough chipshit on it to mention it on this here blog. I really like what I am hearing, but I can definitely get what the guy who gave me this CD was saying - "sometimes it seems a bit too much like an in joke that his friends and fans will get and not many others".
Here is what some others are saying about the release. Want a copy? Get it from the artist's store and give him the extra cash!

Hey! I got this record!! I don't think it's an in joke or anything, but he did dedicate the making of the album to his friends who helped him finish it. I found that more heartwarming than anything. Seen him live? He uses a big old brick gameboy! Lots of fun!
