Game Boy Australia Presents (Wed 2nd of July)

After the last show with Glomag in Sydney, Game Boy Australia was offered a monthly slot at the venue. Obviously Alex won't be able to make it every month, but he will be there in spirit. The first Wednesday of every month will now present one or more 8bit artists/DJs for your listening pleasure.

Next month: Divide By Zero and Przewalskis Horse play live and 10k (me) will be sitting 'behind the decks'. Expect some fresh Game Boy noise jams and my favorite 8bit tunes to be dropped.

As alway 'Club Consolador De Dos Caras', can be found at la Campana, 53-55 liverpool st, 'The Spanish 1/4', Sydney. Thanks to DualpLOVER for hosting this event.

Love always,

Astr0 Z0mbies: This Dark Paradise EP

This Dark Paradise is from what I can tell, the first EP from Astr0 Z0mbies, aka Darcy, the creator of Chain Chomp Records. For the most part this EP feels like you should be playing Pokemon or Zelda. The EP sports melodies that are as pure and innocent as they are memorable. I feel that Darcy has aimed for a video game soundtrack style EP, with the song titles to match. If this is indeed what he set his sights on he succeeded.
